I enjoyed the spectacular views of LA from Harry’s house.
Just wondering if the horrific fires in LA are in that area?

In addition to the destruction of so many luxury homes, imagine the loss of all of the antiques, jewelry, artwork, and probably some valuable guns contained in them.

I don't know. The last report I saw said 1100 structures were lost. I don't think there are many barns in that neighbor hood.

The fire definitely took the house Two And A Half Men was filmed in.

The radiant energy given off by these big fires is almost unbelievable,,

Last winter, I burned a brush pile, and I looked at the fire a little too long.

The radiant heat distorted the lens in my 2 week old glasses,,
I went back to where I bought the glasses,,
They said they had never seen that before,, (I did not mention the fire)
They replaced the lens,, no charge,,

So, I would imagine the radiant heat could cause the fire to "jump" a long distance,,,

In Mississippi the Forest Service burns off US Forests every year, which means about half of the state, preventing underbrush from getting so thick that we would have California like fire problems. We have dry seasons also. It also helps the pine forests, a major source of income for many of us. Most private land owners do the same thing. We had some bad fires that took out a few houses following Hurricane Katrina because of all of the trees blown down. We keep the woods clean and still have plenty of places for the critters to live. I don't know if this would work in California or not. Personally, I'm aware of the danger, and keep things clear anywhere it looks like it could be dangerous, especially near my house or outbuildings. Now, as far as what is currently happening in the LA area, in the not too distant future I think we are going to see new fire stations and reservoirs that can hold enough water to alleviate what is now occurring.

Many pines actually require fire to reproduce.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Bosch's residence was filmed at 1870 Blue Heights Drive, about two miles west of the Sunset Fire in Hollywood, which is apparently under control. It is many miles east of the massive Palisades Fire, which is not under control, but is moving south and west. So it looks like the "Bosch House" is safe for now. As a native of Southern California, I can tell you that if you own a house in the hills, it will burn eventually. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

Yessir, still waiting for the next season of Legacy.
That house is just fascinating, every time they show it.
You got extra special attention to it during that one episode
where some bad hombres tried to attack him at home.
